Grand Opening Giveaway Contest: Campfire Blondies

To kick off the grand opening of our online
shop we’re announcing our first giveaway:  1 box of Campfire Blondies, our hand made smores bars: a $35 value, plus free ground shipping anywhere in the US.  These blondies are egg free, peanut free, nut free dessert bars baked in our dedicated egg free bakery.  For more information on Campfire Blondies, click the photo.

N.B:  Several commenters have mentioned allergies to soy.  These blondies contain soy.  I encourage you to click the photo to see more information about the blondies, including their ingredients and allergen labeling.

Tom Anichini owns Egg-Free Epicurean along with his wife, Amy Jones Anichini, who founded the business in 2009. Tom is an actuary and an investment professional. He holds an MBA in Finance from the Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois.     My 3 year old daughter, Emma Claire, and my 2 year old son, Gus, both have severe allergies, resulting in anyphylaxis, from tree nuts and peanuts, so these delicious treats would be a great joy. Plus it gives me a break of having to make everything yummy myself. I hope hope hope they (and I) win.

    My grandchildren are allergic to nuts and treenuts. These would be wonderful treats for them. They are only 2 and 3 so hard to understand why they can’t have some of the treats other kids get. Thanks for launching this much needed company. I’m sure we will be ordering often.

    I was so excited when I found your website months ago. My daughter suffers from a severe nut allergy and finding new and yummy desserts can be quite challenging.     These look amazingly good, I am drooling. We have not had anything that awesome looking to eat since December 2009 when my son was diagnosed (I am not talented in baking). He is allergic to eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and shellfish, so it is hard/impossible to find things in the store he can have. as far as desserts.

    I just wanted to leave a comment about how AMAZING these bars are! All three of my kids {5 1/2, 3 1/2 and 1} are big fans of all of the yummy cookies, even my picky eater {who is allergic to eggs and peanuts} couldn’t get enough of them.

    The customer service here is fantastic and whoever wins these is going to love them.

    I am always looking for treats that can be sent into my son’s classroom since he (as well as others in his class) have egg and nut allergies. I also teach in a school, and am sure that there would be a lot of allergic kids that would be thrilled to try something new!! They look delicious : P

    My 5 year old son almost died after inhaling peanut dust at Disneyland. We ended up in the hospital while he was in a coma. :(

    The public schools in our area are not accomodating to him for his peanut allergy so we now homeschool him. :(

    In addition to peanut allergies, he’s also allergic severely to:
    *Eggs
    *Pork
    *Peas
    *Corn
    *Walnuts
    *Sesame Seeds

    This is wonderful to find a special treat where he won’t die from enjoying something tastey like every child should. Thank you for coming out with this. YOU make a difference in many lives, including ours. <3
