Links to Helpful Resources on Halloween Food Allergy Safety

After having written roughly a half dozen posts on how food allergic children can have fun AND stay safe, the coda to the topic ought to be on the topic of safe Halloween treats. A couple others have already written lengthy lists on that topic, so instead of writing a me-too post I’m going to link to them here.

Kelley JP Lindberg, a journalist and blogger in Utah who is associated with a local food allergy support group there, published Halloween Candy Round-up.

Colette Martin compiled a list of Peanut-Free Candy!

Sarah O’Brien wrote earlier this month Food Allergy-Friendly Sweet Treats

Jeanne Sager compiled a list of non-food treats at 20 candyfree halloween treats that won’t get your house egged

Alison St. Sure listed an eye-poppingly long list at Halloween Candy List – Gluten-Free Allergen-Free Status – 2010. Wow.

No doubt there are other writers out there posting lists of safe sweets for the food allergic on Halloween – feel free to cite them in the comments.
